Role Overview
Our hospital partners are seeking experienced Clinical Psychologists with a specialism in neuropsychology to deliver high-quality psychological assessment and therapeutic interventions to patients with acquired brain injuries, neurodegenerative diseases and functional neurological disorders. This is a senior clinical post requiring doctoral or Masters-level training, supervised clinical hours and active psychological practitioner registration.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments for diagnostic and rehabilitation planning purposes
• Develop and deliver evidence-based individual and group psychological interventions
• Provide consultation to multidisciplinary teams on psychological formulation and management
• Support family members and carers through psychoeducation and structured counselling
• Contribute to service development, audit and clinical research activities
• Supervise trainee psychologists and provide peer supervision to colleagues
Requirements & Qualifications
• Doctoral or Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited programme
• Current registration with the relevant psychological practitioners board
• Post-qualification supervised experience in neuropsychology or rehabilitation
• Proficiency in standardised neuropsychological assessment batteries
• Strong report writing, interpersonal and team collaboration skills
