Role Overview
Clinical Pharmacists are integral members of the multidisciplinary team at partner hospitals in Dortmund, Germany. This role focuses on optimising medication therapy, improving patient outcomes and leading medication safety initiatives across inpatient and outpatient services.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialist pharmaceutical care during ward rounds and multidisciplinary meetings
• Perform clinical medication reviews and therapeutic drug monitoring
• Lead or support antimicrobial stewardship and formulary management
• Provide education and guidance to clinical staff and patients
• Participate in audit, policy development and quality improvement projects
Requirements & Qualifications
• Master of Pharmacy (MPharm), PharmD or equivalent and active registration with the national pharmacy regulator
• Minimum 3 years clinical hospital pharmacy experience
• Strong clinical knowledge, communication skills and experience in multidisciplinary settings
