Our membership reflects Mehermedics' unwavering commitment to the principles of the WHO Global Code of Practice on the International Recruitment of Health Personnel — a framework that emphasises fair recruitment practices, mutual benefit for source and destination countries, protection of the rights and welfare of internationally recruited health workers, and investment in health workforce development in source countries.
As a GHWA member, Mehermedics commits to publishing annual ethical recruitment reports, maintaining transparent relationships with source country governments and health ministries, supporting capacity-building initiatives in the African countries from which we recruit, and ensuring that every nurse and caregiver placed through our agency receives fair wages, safe working conditions and genuine career development opportunities in their destination country.
